Human Resources Intern
Location: Cranston, RI
Department: Human Resources
Main Responsibilities:
The intern will gain exposure to all areas of the Human Resources Department by engaging in hands on projects involving:
-HR Metrics
-FLSA analysis and audit of benefits
-Talent Acquisition
-Assisting with duties related to the HR Communications role such as internal communications and community relations activities
-General administrative duties
Intern will also assist in the planning and execution of Swarovski employee events. With guidance and support such responsibilities will include:
• developing event concepts, ideas and related communications
• working with vendors on event planning and collateral/materials
• providing pre-event administrative support and coordination, including project status updates
Requirements and/or Qualifications:
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Experience in event planning/project management a plus. Must be detail oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Web-savvy and quick learner.
The qualified candidate must be of a sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing. Candidate must also have an academic background in the subject they are pursuing. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be currently enrolled and active in an accredited college.
