Various duties revolving around administration, scanning documents into our virtual office online, faxing, copying, assisting in putting trainings together through MS powerpoint, among other things to be considered.

CMPMR is a medical practice management company engaged in two core areas of a physician office practice:

1) Billing claims service: Complete revenue cycle management. This includes proving software for the practice to use to enter appointments, charges etc. CMPMR then submits the claims to various insurance companies and follows the claim until it is paid. Each practice receives a report of the collections from the account manager.

2) Electronic Medical Records (EMR): CMPMR, LLC has developed a complete electronic medical records product that was certified by Infogard as a complete ambulatory EMR. EMRs allow physicians to use a paperless system that in the future would be interconnected for better and more efficient point of care. CMPMR is in the process of developing Practice Management (PM) software that will integrate with the EMR for a single system that a physician office can use to efficiently do most of their day to day tasks.

Develop real world experience in sales

Analyze sales effort, provide report of strategies that work and do not work and suggest improvements

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sale of service, product to physician offices- Medical billing service and EMR product

2. Develop new ideas – submit proposals

3. Work with marketing team to improve performance

Working hours:

Flexible- Ideal time to meet with physician office staff and physicians is 11 AM to 3 PM

Start and End Dates:

Flexible to student requirements. Minimum of 8 hours per week for 4 months.

Compensation: No pay for first two weeks of training but $10.00 per hour after that and possible other compensation incentives.

JOB SUMMARY (Describe in 2-3 sentences the purpose of this position):

Gain experience in the health insurance field prior to graduating from an accredited college or university. Responsible for assisting the Senior Business Analyst and other members of the Business Analysis team with projects or tasks assigned by the Senior Business Analyst or other members of the department or program. Work 8-12 hours per week for academic credit (unpaid) for one semester.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (nature and scope of position, maximum of 10):

· Develop business analysis skills.

· Assist with business analysis deliverables, including Discovery Documents, process flow diagrams, Business Requirements Documents, Use Cases, entry and validation of requirements into Quality Center, etc.

· Take minutes for meetings for the Business Analysis team.

· Gain experience using various software tools, such as MS Excel and PowerPoint.

· Participate in interdepartmental workshops or other meetings and gain exposure to other areas of the department and company.

· Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of the functions of the department or program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education and Experience:

Enrolled in a full-time program at an accredited academic institution of higher learning to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Health Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Education, Additional Qualifications and Experience:

· Experience using Lotus Notes mail and databases, Project, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Word.

· Knowledge of BCBSRI products and lines of business.
