Interesting Local Internship for a Marketing or Creative MIS Student with Photography Skills

This is a very interesting local internship for a marketing student with photography skills or a very creative MIS student with photo skills.

IMTRA is a Marine Products company located in New Bedford. They are in the final days of launching an updated version of their company website. There are a number of “clean-up” issues that they need to do to complete the site. One of them is to create images for nearly 1000 products. They have a small photo tent and a camera, and just don’t have staff that can devote the time to take most of the pictures. An intern could assist with the photography and the data entry related to getting these images up on the site.

The intern would also participate in weekly website meetings to discuss all aspects of the site. The intern will see how that process works and to be engaged in that process as it often leads to other small tasks this person could do and learn about.

The web site uses a platform that is built on industry standard applications. The database behind the site is a Microsoft SQL database and the company uses common web-editing tools to modify the look and feel of the content on the site.

Interested candidates should respond as soon as possible with an email and a resume to:

Eric BraitmayerVice President, IMTRA Corporation
508-995-7000

Eric's email is: Eric@imtra.com
