Opportunity to shadow and observe an accounting and consulting business

A local entrpreneur and owner of an accounting and consulting firm has offered to take on a CCB accountring student to observe and learn from an accounting professional. RGFA is the firm and the student may also become familiar with a start-up named The office is located in Plymouth on the Plymouth/Wareham line.  This is not a part-time job.  And this is not officially a credit internship.  The principal asks the student to come in two to three hours a week during the summer. The firm works with individuals and businesses  - both domestically and internationally. 90% of the business handles complex situations in tax and accounting. A student will get exposure to:

· Developing tax returns,
· Working on financial statements
· Advising on personal financial situations
· Working in legal environments
· Understanding researching and applying tax law   This appears to be a good opportunity for an accounting major looking for some real world experience.  This is not a paid position but a learning experience.  Interested students should send an email detailing your interest and attach a resume to Robert Fornano:

Paid Summer MIS Internship at the Acushnet Company

Acushnet Company is looking for an End User computing intern for the summer months to start as soon as possible. Responsibilities would include daily computer tech troubleshooting. This is a paid internship and is a terrific opportunity. Marketing Intern Summer 2013 RPI Printing (Fall River)
