As Finance or Accounting intern at Liberty Mutual, you'll get to experience the dynamic environment and challenges of our organizations. You will focus on developing the skills necessary for success by assisting professionals with day-to-day job assignments. You may be assigned to additional training or project work.
Job Duties:
• Work with cross-functional business units on various development projects.
• Assist with related financial documentation.
• Assist with ad hoc financial production based troubleshooting.
• Reviews procedures to identify areas for improved efficiency.
• Build business and professional skills that will prepare you for leadership positions.
• Gain valuable real world experience with a Fortune 100 company.
Qualifications:
The typical intern student is an undergraduate who will handle projects or some of the work normally performed by an entry-level, professional employee. As an intern, you must be working towards a bachelor's degree (graduating in 2014 or 2015) and possess a minimum 3.5 GPA. In addition, the following criteria are highly recommended:
•Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to provide information in a clear, concise manner.
•Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
•Effective analytical skills to gather information, analyze facts, and draw conclusions.
