Job Description

The Marketing department is currently seeking a Marketing intern to work on the marketing communications team, as well as perform day to day marketing department functions. The ideal candidate would be someone looking for a position in a fast-paced Marketing department, open to the opportunity to learn new skills, and able to support many different projects. The candidate should have a background or concentration in Marketing or a specific interest in working in the Marketing field. College students are encouraged to apply. Must have valid driver’s license.


■Create and distribute collateral for various retail and business unit programs

■Serve as Rockland Trust brand ambassador, including driving Rockland Trust van to local events and distribute merchandising and collateral.

■Assist with written internal and external communications projects, including website content

■Support summer community initiatives, including the “Reading Makes Cents” Summer Reading Program and deployment of Rockland Trust community van to events and appearances

■Manage sponsorship ad requests, including program ad creation

■Act as the liaison between Rockland Trust and our premium item vendor, including order assistance, inventory maintenance and questions, and other requests as they arise

■Sort department mail

■Other projects as needed, including administrative support

Required Skills

Required Skills:

■General marketing knowledge and background ideal

■Comfortable driving van to scheduled events

■Strong written and verbal communication skills

■Team and customer-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills;

■Organized, with good project management skills, self-starter

■Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and its programs.

■Must have valid driver's license.
