Position Summary
The Internal Controls Intern will work closely with the Mansfield team to help test the internal controls documented by key members of the company. He/she will also work with some of Covidien service organizations to review their control activities and processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test controls documented within North American Shared Service Center (NASSC), Corporate or other locations
Test controls in the fields of Financial Reporting, Procurement, Customer Orders and Fixed Assets
Assist with the preparation of various documents to ensure Covidien is compliant with SSAE no. 16 Standard and service organization reporting
Participate in miscellaneous internal controls consulting projects
REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Requirement: Minimum Junior-level standing
Academic and/or Work Experience: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business-related field
Technology/System Experience: Not required
GPA Requirement: Strong academic record (>3.0 GPA)
