The Footwear Intern will assist the Product Team with various projects throughout the summer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Product Line Managers with market research
Analyze the assortments from competition’s brands and compare to Saucony’s assortments
Assist in the product process from briefs to go-to-market strategy
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program
Strong analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills required
Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong project management skills that drive ability to meet aggressive deadlines
Ability to work within a collaborative, team based and matrix environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Understanding of basic retail/wholesale business metrics and terms
Flexible personality with creative and analytical skills that allows him/her to solve problems
Passion for athletic industry. Athletic background (high school or college) is a plus
Experience working in a retail/wholesale setting is a plus
