SUMMARY

Investigates and resolves PC software and hardware conflicts. Works as a team member to support users in various worldwide locations. Documents processes for using new and existing PC programs or others as defined. Provides troubleshooting techniques to the helpdesk. Tests new software packages before implementation and makes recommendations based on business need. Tests and recommends new hardware and stays abreast of changes in technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Answers incoming support calls from local users as well as from remote sites. Works with end users to resolve issues over the phone whenever possible. Closes the majority of issues with a first time resolution and escalates when appropriate in a timely manner.

• Analyzes and develops technical documentation on existing PC applications, other defined applications, and PC systems.

• Tests, documents and resolves conflicts with PC hardware and software.

• Maintain set standards of PC configurations and software installations.

• Works with users and team members on assigned projects.

• Establishes priorities for daily and project related tasks based on business needs and established service levels to meet deadlines.

• Evaluates and tests software packages to determine compatibility with existing system, ease of use, and to ensure the software meets user needs. This will be for upgrades as well as new packages.

• Schedules and performs software installs, hardware installs, and client installs

• Assists with departmental projects as necessary.

• Utilizes automated installation and features whenever possible. May work with Networking Team to maximize these results.

• Cross-trains to further develop technical ability.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Technical Support Specialist

• Supports all PartyLite and Blyth remote locations.

• Provides phone support on a minimum basis (60%) to end users.

• Reads technical journals or manuals and attends seminars/user groups as required to stay current with technology.

• Provides comparisons of hardware specs and makes recommendation for changes or additions as required to meet the business need.

• Negotiate support contracts and ability to work with vendors to obtain competitive prices while keeping the best interests of PartyLite in mind.

The Intern will work collaboratively with both the Asset Management and Leasing departments. The internship would focus on improving the reporting capabilities and processes and overall operational efficiency of both departments.

Responsibilities

· Work closely with both teams to improve reporting capabilities and processes and assist with the development of new reports.

· Assist with periodic property valuations and lease analysis utilizing ARGUS.

· Participate in the review of operational results and assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly variance reports.

o Test population of reports and explore opportunities to automate report creation through existing technologies (Yardi).
o Work collaboratively with Accounting and Systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data needed for report creation.
· Assist with improvements to the job cost process.
o Review the current job cost process and identify opportunities to improve the accuracy of information expedite the approval process
o Explore job cost reporting capabilities within Yardi that would support management in their review and approval of proposed jobs and swaps.
o Work with the IT and Systems departments to determine the process and timeline for migrating the job cost process into a SharePoint environment.
o Draft new job cost guidelines for inclusion in the Asset Management Policy & Procedure Manual.
· Assist in the implementation of Yardi Advanced Budgeting & Forecasting (ABF)
o If the company proceeds with Yardi ABF, compare reporting capabilities of Yardi ABF v. Idysys and RMR Reporting to identify any gaps.
o Review current budget process to identify opportunities to further automate the process.
· Complete special ad hoc projects and analysis as needed.
o Assist with the preparation and variance analysis of reports for the company’s Board of Trustees.
o Assist with the creation of ARGUS models for periodic valuations and lease analysis.
o Maintain the quarterly Property Profile Sheet database.

Requirements

The Tennis Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino, site of the first U.S. National Championships in 1881, was founded by tennis innovator James Van Alen in 1954 as "a shrine to the ideals of the game." The Tennis Hall of Fame was officially sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association in 1954 and was recognized by the International Tennis Federation in 1986. The Hall of Fame Tennis Clubs operates 13 outdoor grass court, 1 outdoor clay court and 3 indoor courts throughout the year. We separate our operations into two distinct seasons with the outdoor courts playable from May through Sept and the indoor courts playable from Sept into May of each year.



An intern’s concentration embraces the front desk information services, reservations, and financial transactions and record keeping as well as assisting with the Pro Shop sales, court maintenance and member relations. We are looking for students with a high level of people skills, sports management, accounting, finance and marketing. Prior high school or collegiate tennis team participation or avid tennis enthusiast a plus.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. is currently looking to hire a MBA Accounting Intern! The Intern will work with our corporate controllers group in Lakeville, MA.

The Intern will assist the Controller's group with various projects throughout the allotted time to help close the fiscal accounting year. Take ownership of some duties within the Group that will be the intern's responsibilities during the summer. Specifically act as a peer reviewer for all monthly cash reconciliations. Peer review capital project “placed in service” forms.
