About the Job:
The Human Resources Benefit and Compensation Intern will provide assistance in support of the Human Resources Benefits and Compensation functions through participation in regular daily/weekly plan adminsitration, the open enrollment process rollout and several compensation projects.
 
Essential Funtions & Skills:
 
·         Assist Benefits Specialist in the preparation and excecution of the open enrollment process, including coordination of benefits fairs, flu shot clinics, ordering supplies, print outsourcing, website updates, information meetings and communications to J.Jill Associates.
·         Provide administrative support for written documents to be generated, printed and distributed to J.Jill associates (including compliance mailings, new hire, job change and open enrollment materials, and wellness information).
·         Research and program development for Wellness strategy and programming.
·         Research and documentation regarding Health Care Reform compliance.
·         Benefits file maintenance including archiving of older files and setting up of new files.
·         Lead role on project for organization of electronic job description management system.
·         Well organized with good attention to detail and demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
·         Good writing and verbal communication skills
·         Must have good Microsoft Word skill, good Excel and Powerpoint skills desired
 
 
Job Requirements :
Education & Experience:
·         H.S. or equivalent is required, plus some college education, preferably in a Human Resources or related discipline
·         Previous work experience in an office or retail environment is a plus
