Job Description / Requirements

The primary role of this position is to audit transportation carrier contracts and pricing addendums to ensure accurate rating in the company’s proprietary transportation management system.  The ideal candidate is a junior or senior in the Charlton College of Business (preferably an Operations Management major) and has skills and/or working knowledge in the following areas:

1.      Transportation contracts

2.      Less-than-truckload rates

3.      Transportation management systems

4.      Project management

This position requires interaction with the company’s Vice President Operations, Vice-President Information Technology, Carrier Administration Manager and Quality Assurance Manager. 

Schedule / Compensation
This internship is for the Fall 2013 semester and for a minimum of 135 hours.  The company is flexible regarding the weekly work schedule.  In addition to course credit, the intern will be paid $10.00 per hour.
