Seasonal Accounting Intern needed for Hallmark Health Medical Associates, Inc. (Woburn, MA)
Job Title: Accounts Payable/Accounting Intern
Organization Name : Hallmark Health Medical Associates, Inc.
Hours per Week: 10-15 (flexible days/week and hours/day) Should be same day/time from week to week
Wage/Salary: Unpaid—must use for Internship Course credit
*Employment Start Date: Fall, Winter, Spring semester slots available (very flexible)
Length of Internship: 2-month minimum
Internship
Description: Assists accountants and other staff with various
bookkeeping and other financial duties associated with the healthcare
industry. Data entry, account reconciliations, recording journal
entries, entering data into AP system, researching outstanding checks,
assisting with vendor files, preparing invoices to be posted to system,
researching invoice discrepancies, filing.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will be in school for accounting, finance or business
and possess strong attention to detail, ability to multitask,
demonstrated time management skills, proficient computer skills, with
basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Meditech knowledge a
plus.
Education: Working toward 2 or 4 year degree
Public transportation is available nearby, but a car is recommended.
