JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a candidate who is interested in learning all aspects of web site production for a network marketing web site. This person will be responsible for weekly site content publishes including coordinating content roll outs with the Site Manager, and assisting the Senior Producer and site production team members with CMS tasks (Content Management System), which will include asset acquisition from vendors and our network partner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with daily/weekly CMS work, including creating/modifying content items and uploading assets to the CMS database for use by team members
- Liaising with the HOM Content team members to assist with maintenance of Hubworld content areas
- Helping Site Manager maintain an inventory all content assets in CMS to create a visual database of image assets for all Hubworld content
- Providing weekly overviews on content updates to Technical Lead to assist with analytics tracking/metrics
- Overseeing Updates to Hub Headlines press releases
- Maintenance of the FAQ article page
- Editing the About Us, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy pages as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be enrolled in a degree program, studying one of the following preferred: Digital Marketing, Communications, or Interactive Technology/Communications major
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Photoshop for basic image creation/editing
- Comfortable working on either a Mac or PC
- Self-starter who doesn’t need a lot of micro-management or hand-holding
- Highly organized, with an eye for details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player who understands how to work within a dynamic group
NOTE: This position is not a web designer. Web design experience is an advantage but not essential to this role.
