Looking
for a junior year college student who is interested and enthusiastic about gaining
insight into the field of accounting through a hands-on internship experience. We
are looking for a student who is curious about working in a fast-paced, yet
smaller-sized accounting firm and who is eager to help with any projects that
must be completed. Projects include bank reconciliations, data entry, spreadsheets
and analysis, as well as photocopying and other clerical work. Intern will get
a chance to process financial information from clients, allocate income and
expenses to appropriate accounts, prepare schedules, and enter financial data
into the computer system in order to prepare financial statements. Student must
be a self-starter, a fast learner, and self-sufficient when given tasks.
This
is an exciting opportunity to gain real world accounting experience.
