Responsibilities: This position is for a summer intern to assist corporate infrastructure team with day to day management of several critical IT Operations Functions. The selected candidate will focus on working with the project teams to update our inventories, maintain accurate documentation on our Sharepoint site, and schedule and attend various project meetings. Will also provide some exposure to deployment of IT infrastructure to support these projects including server and storage technology. Ability to work with systems administration team to learn and perform basic computer operations functions. Ability to follow IT operations procedures with guidance. Duties will include assisting with backup and monitoring operations, as well as documentation of processes. Qualifications: Education: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field Required Skills: Linux/Unix administration Basic computer knowledge Nuance Communication Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
