Job Description

Position Overview:
This internship position will support financial operations for the POC (Point of Care) business unit within Siemens Healthcare. The position will give the intern exposure to a global business footprint, with a working knowledge of foreign currency impact, operating leverage, managing from an operational perspective finance statements to achieve business objectives (e.g., net manufacturing contribution), and leading complex projects in a cross-site and functional environment. The intern will work closely with the Global Supply Chain Management and BU finance teams to perform high-level and high-impact analyses and create robust processes for managing multiple elements. The fast paced and dynamic environment will give exposure to a wide range of cross-functional groups and business issues.

  • Financial Reporting: consolidate global site- wide financial activity, perform monthly reporting, and participate in other special projects.
  • Business Modeling: working in cross-functional team to support productivity modeling and risk assessments
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Education required: Candidates for BS, BBA, or MBA

Academic majors: Finance/Accounting

Minimum GPA: 3.0

Technical skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Duration: 2-3 months (ASAP)

Preferred hours/week: 30-40
