Marketing Assistant
Advanced Technology Manufacturing Center (ATMC)
The Charlton
College of
Business and Advanced Technology Manufacturing
Center (ATMC) is looking
for a student to work on a business incubator
marketing project.
The position
requires a responsible individual with great communication skills and reliable
transportation, as well as the ability to collaborate and
engage other organizations and students in
multiple marketing campaigns. The right candidate will be working with the
ATMC to develop a number of
marketing initiations, from inception to
implementation and assessment. The assistant will be required to create
and prepare marketing
materials, market research, implement
marketing initiatives, document
efforts, including preparation of a final
report and assess results of marketing strategies.

below, as well as the
required skills.

Develop
market research and bench marking on business
incubators
·
Identify guerilla
and social
media marketing opportunities
·
Identify marketing
venues and create marketing
plan
·
Create survey and distribute to organizations,
·
Collect survey and provide summary
of results
·
Assist with interim and final report
·
Maintenance
of web-site
·
Testing
and deploying marketing campaigns
·
Regular communication with
partner organizations
·
Answering phones, copying, faxing, and other general
office support
·
Assist with coordination meetings and
events, Attending events, on and off campus Required skills
·
Undergraduate Student, Business major, preferably
marketing, with an interest in entrepreneurship, marketing
and small business
·
Dependable
with strong organization skills
·
Effective Communication skills, including
writing and verbal
·
Ability to interact with professionals from diverse groups
·
Ability to work in team environment; Ability to take
lead on a project
·
Computer skills including
online research, social media, PowerPoint and word
·
Ability to think
creatively; Drive to learn and gain experience
Preferred:
Experience with market
research social media management,
marketing, and creative
writing
