Have an interest in blogging, social media and SEO? Want to learn more about Twitter, Facebook and blogging for business? Think you might enjoy being part of a start-up marketing team?
We are looking for a talented individual to help us with all aspects of our marketing efforts. You will be responsible for helping us improve our website and business both internally and externally. Learn the basics of SEO, get involved with social media, write blog posts, help create content and new pages on the Yesware website, and see how marketing is done at a start-up.
This internship is paid for college students and will require you to be able to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week (more if desired) here at our office in Cambridge, MA in Kendall Square.
Responsibilities
- Learn, understand and utilize the basics of search engine optimization
- Work within our CMS to add new content to the site
- Research & write blog posts for the Yesware blog
- Research & identify opportunities for partnerships and links
- Improve participation on our company Facebook Page
- Improve brand presence in business-based social networks and blogs
Requirements
- College student with a major in Marketing or Communications
- Able to dedicate a minimum of 15-20 hours a week or more
- Eye for detail and accuracy in everything
- Able to juggle multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Resourceful, self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated follow-up, and organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn or use Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
- Knowledge of basic HTML desirable but not necessary
Bonus Points
- You have experience working in an entrepreneurial/ startup company
- Are active in the online community with a blog, Twitter, etc.
- You are familiar with Twitter, blogging, and Facebook for business use
