As a Marketing Associate for Dale Carnegie you will drive the local marketing and business development initiatives for the organization. This will include event promotion, content creation, social media activity and client communication. You are actively creating new marketing communications and content as well as implementing the existing marketing strategies. Your activities will directly contribute to the bottom line of our business.

What does the "Day to Day" Look Like?

Event promotion for webinars, workshops and seminars Working with sales team to support campaigns Marketing research on target markets and prospects Managing the local social media elements and developing a social media plan Database management of CRM (we will teach you all you need to know)

What skills should I have?

Strong communication skills; both written and oral Good project management abilities Strong working knowledge of social media Computer literate: The World Wide Web, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Microsoft Office Suites Open to learning new skills and schools of thought

From this internship you will be able to:
Participate in the Dale Carnegie Course and intensive High Impact Presentations Course (valued at $2,000 each). Receive College Credit available for programs completed and internship credit if accepted by College/University. Have the chance to work Flexible Hours, Part-time, 15-20 hours per week. Create a portfolio of Marketing Content Learn how Marketing connects with Sales and what it takes to Succeed Possible letter of recommendation upon completion of internship This is a paid internship, we will determine pay based on previous experience and abilities.
