Information Technology Intern
Location: 200 Narragansett Park Drive, Pawtucket RI 02860
Department: Enterprise Architecture & Strategic Sourcing
Job Duration: Summer Internship
Hours: 40 hours per week
Function/Purpose:
The Intern will work within the Information Technology department which provides technology solutions throughout Hasbro’s global organization. The Intern will provide support to the enterprise architecture and strategic sourcing teams. A candidate for this position should have a career interest in technology, strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The IT Business Process Intern will assist the IT Department in a variety of ways including the following:
Support for Enterprise Architecture team:
- Developing and refining EA tools, models and templates
- Building an Application Catalog
- Documenting business processes and workflows
- Preparing agendas and presentations for Architecture Review Board
- Researching IT topics and documenting best practices
Support for Strategic Sourcing team:
- Coordinating vendor update meetings
- Monitoring vendor performance
- Contract documentation and support
- Project management and business analysis
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program
- Some college experience in Information Technology or a related field
- Strong MS-Office skill set (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)
- Team player with a strong desire to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
