US Trust Overview:
US Trust provides comprehensive investment and wealth management solutions
to wealthy and ultra-wealthy clients with investable assets of more than $3
million. The company has 4,400 associates serving clients in more than 140
offices in 32 states across the country.
Role:
Work alongside a Trust Officer to help manage the needs of fiduciary/trust
clients. Serves as an additional point of contact to clients and/or as backup
for the Trust officers. Performs servicing and account maintenance activities,
which are primarily trust/fiduciary-related that include PACE/Trust Web
accounting transactions, deposits/transfers, etc. Will also perform
administrative duties such as typing, filing, copying, etc. This is a
non-licensed position.
Training:
The ten week internship program includes on the job training as well as
business and professional development training delivered virtually and in
person. Training is designed to help interns build their business acumen,
effectively work in the business, and assist as they launch careers in financial
services upon graduation.
Training includes:
- Orientation which includes company onboarding as well as business and company overviews
- Lunch & Learns and Executive Speaker Series
- Web-based training that includes technical training and professional development
- Community service opportunities
Locations:
Opportunities may exist in the following locations: Atlanta, GA; Boston,
MA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Florham Park, NJ; Miami, FL; Kansas City, MO; New
York, NY; Providence, RI; Richmond, VA; Tennessee or Washington
DC.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree, Graduation Date December 2014 or May 2015
- Legal authorization to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
- GPA 3.3
Preferred Qualifications:
- GPA 3.5
- Demonstrates leadership abilities
- Effective oral and written communication
- Adaptable to fast paced, changing environments
- Ability to think independently, and work collaboratively
