Position Summary:

CVS Caremark offers a comprehensive internship program designed to engage students, impart valuable skills, and offer insight into a potential career path with a Fortune 13 company. Highlights include a structured program plan, hands on project work, access to mentorship and networking opportunities, and learning and development sessions. During the 10 week engagement interns will be in a supportive learning environment contributing both independently and on a team against key department initiatives. Competitive compensation is offered including a stipend for eligible candidates.

As part of the Account Services team within Advertising, this intern will have an opportunity to work in a cross-functional setting and participate in the planning, execution and measurement of key Marketing campaigns and projects. This intern will have exposure to both Pharmacy and the Front Store business units.

Front Store: The candidate will help support the company blue chip initiatives like Conversion, Beauty and Store of the Future (PATH). The intern will also get to own and lead small to mid-sized projects from start to finish, with an internal team consisting of marketing, media, print, creative, etc. For example, this intern will gather the project requirements and strategy from business owners, collaborate with creative to develop the artwork/solution, get buy-in from legal/clinical (if needed), and coordinate with print team to get the sign elements produced and distributed to stores.

Pharmacy: The intern will support integrated marketing campaigns (like the Flu campaign) with multimedia components including in store signage, direct mail, online, social media etc. The intern will also contribute to improving and streamlining the processes and tools on the AS team.

Required Qualifications:

*Availability to work full time for duration of the 10 week program. *Proficiency in standard MS Office software products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. *Team player who is energetic, organized and a logical thinker. *Superior communication and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Ability to work within established timeframes, deadlines, and understanding next steps. *Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines. *Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.


*Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a 4 year college or university and entering their senior year in fall of 2014. *Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
