Grant Thornton Corporate Finance is an investment banking boutique
focused on middle market M&A transactions. We focus on middle market
deals with values ranging from $10MM to $200MM in a variety of
industries (consumer, industrial products and technology). Typical
transactions include the sale of privately held businesses, corporate
divestitures, acquisitions, and private equity capital raising.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Corporate Finance Intern is primarily responsible for performing
industry and company research in support of the mergers and
acquisitions team. The intern will also prepare written summaries in
Microsoft Word and/or PowerPoint, perform research on valuation
multiple comparables utilizing various database sources, prepare
discounted cash flow valuation models, and assist in the preparation
of confidential offering memorandums.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
in Finance (within 18 months of full-time employment) and have a
major and overall minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0. We prefer candidates that
have a career interest in investment banking and possess excellent
communication skills, outstanding analytical skills, an ability to
handle multiple priorities and simultaneous projects, strong computer
skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

TRAINING
Grant Thornton provides training programs related to an individual's
job responsibilities. The training program for an intern is condensed
relative to the length and responsibilities of the internship. We are
