Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities The outcome expected from this assignment, is to create a detailed profile of this competitor. This profile should include an in-depth description of the competitors background, products, markets, and strategies. This involves: Background Location of offices, plants and online presences History dates, events and trends Ownership, corporate governance and organizational structure Products Products offered, depth and breadth of product line New products developed o Brands o Patents and licenses Marketing Segments served, customer share Distribution channels used, and geographic coverage Strategies Mission statement, objectives Working Conditions and Physical Demands Office environment.
