Internship in Plymouth, MA

Plymouth 400 is a start up nonprofit that invites participation in all aspects of history, the arts and humanities. We are looking for interns in the following areas: Finance: Accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, profit and loss statements, reporting. Event Management: Planning and running events from the initial inquiry through all of the preparation steps to running the event. Events can include arts, cultural, community, or private events. Office Administration: Any of the general office duties necessary such as answering phones, responding to emails, drafting letters, doing data entry. Marketing & Promotion: Social media, the website, email newsletters, press releases, flyers, posters, banners, and images/logos. Community Outreach: Building awareness and relationships with the community and state.
Good customer service skills and the ability to work well in a small team are essential. A love of fun arts/cultural/community events, a nimble mind, a passion for the humanities, and a flexible personality that can adapt to an entrepreneurial environment is important.
