Paid Versus unpaid Internships

The CCB internship program will approve quality internships regardless of whether they are paid or unpaid,  Personally, I encourage companies to pay our interns as I believe most of our interns bring value to an organization.  Many nonprofit organizations will not pay interns.  Profit companies should be paying and about 60-70% of our internships are paid ones.  Here's an interesting article about paid versus unpaid from a recent issue of USA Today.  It discusses how some unpaid interns have brought lawsuits against internship providers and some have won.
