KPMG Internships

Accounting Majors:

I just received the following email from KPMG tonight. If you are interested in a winter or summer internship, please send an email and your resume and a PDF of your transcript to Anne Danek at adanek@kpmg.com. She tells me that KPMG is in the process of determining winter and summer internships over the next couple of weeks, so please make sure you get them to her as soon as possible. She will see to it that your resume (and transcripts) get to the right recruiter. I don't believe that you can get a PDF version of your transcript from the registrar (although you might want to check.) You can scan a hard copy from COIN (print it) into a PDF format and simply attach that along with your resume. But act fast because even though Anne did not give me a due date, she did indicate an urgency. Students who have done the summer KPMG internship in the past have had nothing but praise for it. It seems like a first class program.

Hasbro IT Internship

CHANGE: THIS IS NOW A 4-6 Week assignment. See more recent blog post for more details.

I was just notified by my contact at Hasbro that they are looking for an IT internship. This is a great opportunity. This pays $17.50 per hour and is full-time for the summer. In my opinion, this could be filled by a sharp MIS major. But there may be other business majors with these skills so I have blasted the announcement out to all majors. Please respond with a cover letter and resume to the contact person. I suggest if you are interested, apply as soon as possible.

Comment by Mike Griffin: I have worked for Pearson for several years now (on a consulting basis) on many software packages (supplements to their textbooks). The people I have worked with have been great to work with. It is a very professional environment and I believe this would be an excellent opportunity to work for a large corporation in Boston. I believe their offices are very close to a T-stop. I have traveled to Pearson headquaters on two occassions in the past few years and have taken the red line from Quincy/Adams station.
