1. JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting members of the Controller's department, specifically in the Internal Controls group, in both daily activities and special projects to learn, understand and gain experience related to Sarbanes Oxley compliance in a Fortune 200 multi-national company. Assist in collecting and data and preparing status reports for senior management and participate in ad hoc projects in the Controller's department.
Position is year-round, part-time (up to 20 hours) during school semesters (flexible schedule) and full-time (up to 40 hours) during breaks. Targeted starting date would be January-February 2008.
2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in monthly updates to Control Plans using MS Access Software.
* Collection of data from the on-line Corrective Action Log Database.
* Assist in preparing data for monthly reporting.
* Work on special projects as needed.
3. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

4. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENT:
§ Education Requirements
Preferred junior or senior year of undergraduate study in a business major.
§ Prior Relevant Work Experience (Years and Type)
Prefer some experience working in a professional environment though not
required.
§ Specialized Training or Background:
Ideal candidate will:
· Be proficient in MS Word
· Be proficient in MS Excel
· Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Be action-oriented and able to multi-task effectively
· Be a team player
· Be in Junior or Senior year working towards BS in Accounting
Successful candidate will be gain experience in MS Excel and MS Access applications, database management and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
5. COMPENSATION:
Junior: $12/hour
Senior: $13/hour
Grad Student: $14/hr
