POSITION: IT Communications Specialist
(Coop or Intern)
REPORTING TO: Director, IT
LOCATION: Raynham
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for driving high impact, integrated communications campaigns to the IT organization and to DePuy business partners in a timely fashion. This involves development of marketing literature, electronic media and standard reporting templates. The IT Communications Specialist will also be instrumental in assisting with the development of a content library to be used as information collateral and utilized thru multiple communications channels.
· Organize, coordinate and implement communications projects including print & online advertising, promotional brochures, website content, webcasts and newsletters.
· Write and edit promotional materials, newsletters, information releases and support all internal communication requirements
· Track and measure effectiveness of the implementation of communications initiatives
· Ensure consistency of IT image and position in all communications
· Initiate development of the design and production of all communications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· College Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
· Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
· 1-3 years experience writing marketing copy
· Previous design or graphics experience is an asset
· Detailed oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task
· Strong interpersonal skills, autonomous and proactive
· Team player and ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
· Computer skills in a variety of software: MS Office, Adobe, etc.
