The Liberty Mutual Property internship will allow you to develop knowledge about the commercial and industrial property insurance business by gaining work experience through our property loss prevention operations. You will focus on developing the skills necessary for success by assisting professionals with day-to-day job assignments. You may be assigned to additional training or project work. The Company's internship program is intended to provide students with the opportunity to practice business skills learned in school while gaining work experience.
The intern is an undergraduate who will be working part-time while attending school and must be working towards a bachelor's degree and possess effective verbal and written communication and proficient computer
skills. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required. You will be assigned work normally performed by an entry-level professional employee as well as projects, data analysis and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will collect and coordinate data needed by staff. Obtain data from automated systems and reviewing files. Compile data and enter into corporate computer application or spreadsheets.
May be involved in special projects that may include preparing material, editing, formatting and proofreading material.
Provide administrative support to technical staff as needed.
Proficiency in personal computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word and the ability to learn and use company specific computer systems and applications.
