Talbots
The Corporate Communications Intern will support and learn about the function of corporate communications at Talbots, including the role of an “internal voice” within an organization, as well as philanthropy, corporate events, employee engagement initiatives and more.
Philanthropy (corporate giving): Screen, process, coordinate and respond to corporate donation / in-kind requests; assist with charitable drives and giving initiatives. This includes requesting gift cards, ordering merchandise and preparing receipts.
Corporate Communications: Assist in drafting and editing a range of company messages (Company News, e-News) aimed at different internal audiences and posting these message to company intranet sites.
Special Events: Assist in planning quarterly Town Hall meetings and other meetings as applicable.
Employee Engagement: Research and help execute programs/events that benefit associates and support the unique culture at Talbots.
The internship will be:
