The internship program goals include:
Provide CVS Caremark managers an opportunity to hear fresh ideas from educated college students who will complete special projects based on their course of study.
Provide an investment in your future through a meaningful work experience and provide CVS Caremark an opportunity to identify potential future employees.
Encourage student involvement in CVS Caremark business initiatives to increase your knowledge and develop important business skills.
CVS Caremark managers will define specific projects to be completed during the internship. The project will be beneficial to CVS Caremark and also provide you with a challenging learning opportunity. Your internship will conclude with a presentation summarizing your work to the department's management team and the intern group. In addition to working on a specific project, you also will participate in special program-sponsored activities, including: Company Orientation, Training Sessions, Educational Meetings and Fun (yes fun!) Activities.
Sample departments that have previously offered internships include: Advertising/Marketing/Media, Community Relations,Corporate Communications, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Logistics/Inventory Management, Market Research, Minute Clinic Business Operations, Merchandising/Store Branding, Pharmacy Operations, Real Estate, and Store Operations.
Interns will be paid a competitive hourly wage for the hours worked within a 40-hour work week.
Requirements:
STUDENTS MUST:
Be studying in a program applicable to the internships available.
Be entering your Junior (or equivalent) or Senior year of college or attending Graduate School at an accredited college/university in the Fall of 2012.
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better.
Be available to work from June 4th- August 10th, 2012.
Pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

Copy of your college transcript, unofficial is preferred; for undergraduate students please include your undergraduate transcript; for graduate students, it is only necessary to submit your graduate transcript to date. Letter of recommendation from a faculty advisor, previous employer, or other leader from an organization you have been involved in. If the individual writing your letter of recommendation wants to submit the letter themselves directly, please have them follow the same instructions for emailing documents below.

These documents are required by March 9th before we can consider you for the corporate intern position. Incomplete applications and documents received after March 9th will not be considered.
Status updates will be sent via e-mail. Students who are selected as potential candidates based on their application may be contacted for an initial phone screen interview with the potential to then be considered for an on-site interview. Interviews will take place in March and April.
