Description:
The Attleboro Arts Museum is now accepting applications for Fall 2007 Internships. Interns will gain experience in areas including:
•event planning
•development
•grant research
•technology services/database administration
•permanent collection research/documentation
•art education
Qualifications:
Intern tasks will vary but may include:
•drafting and posting press releases
•drafting correspondence
•direct mail support
•assist in hanging exhibitions
•coordination of and outreach for Museum’s Annual Benefit Art Auction
•updating Museum website content
•project management and administration of juried, national exhibits
•opening reception/event support
•securing of new volunteers
assisting with children's art classes
•analysis of competition
•drafting status reports for grant programs
Flexible scheduling is available. While internships are unpaid, we will work with students to obtain credit for their efforts.
