MIS Temp position with good company

The Service Desk Temp position will involve first level phone support and troubleshooting the following issues.

  • Laptop, desktop, printer and mobile devices. -  We are primarily a Dell desktop and laptop company along with approximately 100 Apple laptop and desktops. On the mobile device side we have iOS - iPhone & iPads, Android - Samsung Galaxy family....and a few leftover Blackberry's.  For printers we use HP and Konica Minolta.
Windows XP & Windows 7 64-bit, Apple OS X (multiple versions), iOS and Android operating systems.
  • Microsoft Office 2007 & 2010, IBM Lotus Notes, McAfee Antivirus, Internet Explorer, Chrome and several other applications, just not on the same scale as the ones mentioned.
  • Basic networking connectivity, hardwire, wireless and VPN.

Other key skills include:

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Training will be provided, but a basic understanding of the above would be helpful.

Training will also be provided on how to use our Easy Vista ticketing system for problems and requests.
