The Science and Technology Books Division at Elsevier has exciting internship opportunities in the areas of

Editorial

and

Marketing

. Participants will be introduced to the business of publishing, gaining experience and knowledge about the intersections between editorial and marketing, production, and sales. Interns will be given the opportunity to observe, participate in, and learn about many aspects of business, publishing, marketing, project management, and interdepartmental collaboration. Experience obtained can be applied to multiple other career contexts. These paid internships will be 10-12 weeks, Monday-Thursday, 9am to 5pm.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:


English
Communication
Marketing
History
Philosophy
Education
Criminal Justice
Security
Computer Science
Management Information Systems
Digital Security
Interest in publishing, communication, media, writing, publicity, marketing and business preferred; previous work experience, particularly in an office environment, preferred. These positions are based in Elsevier’s Waltham, Massachusetts office.
