Primary Duties of the intern:
The primary duties of this intern will be to support the activities of the Marketing Department, by providing research and analytical support, assisting with some small event planning, assisting with the development and distribution of press releases and direct mail and with the creation of some promotional material.
As a Marketing intern, the student will learn how to interact in an office environment as a member of a small fast-paced department. He or she will learn to create meaningful reports, plan and coordinate events, write press releases, coordinate targeted direct mail and develop promotional material.

Academic Preparation:
Junior or Senior pursuing Marketing, English or a Communications/Journalism Major with at least a 3.0 GPA.
Skills Required:
Communication (verbal and written) skills. Customer service and interpersonal skills. Computer knowledge of a variety of software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access. Initiative and the ability to manage a number of functions at the same time. Professional and positive attitude is very important.
Hours of work:
We can be flexible depending on the student’s schedule.
Our Hours of Operation are 8:30AM to 5PM Monday through Friday.
