The internship/project will involve doing Internet research that will assist the Nery Corporation in marketing the sale of a business. You will need excellent Internet/research skills. You will conduct searches online and may have to rely on resources from the UMD library, to gather
critical information and contacts to support a marketing effort. You will be under the guidance of Kevin Nery, owner of the business and an very experienced business person in the field of business valuation.
This is an excellent opportunity for solid work experience, with compensation. The candidate for this position must be able to start as soon as possible after the holidays. Some of the work can be done from home/library and some work will need to be supervised at the New Bedford location. However, it is a flexible/project driven opportunity.
You must be at least a junior, preferably a marketing major, have good communication skills and the ability to work on your own with goals and deliverables specified by the company.
