Job Title:
IT Service Desk Technician

Description:
The IT Service Desk is interested in hiring a
summer intern for 10 weeks beginning the first
week of June. Under the direction of the Service
Desk Supervisor, the job duties will include the following:

• Answer the Service Desk phone on a prescribed shift.
• Record information in the Remedy call tracking system.
• Escalate calls to Service Desk Analysts
• Greet and assist walk-in customers.
• Deliver and collect computer equipment within Brand Central
• Prepare computer equipment for deployment or redeployment
• Assist with IT portion of new hire orientation program.
• Other technical duties as assigned based on technical capability.


Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Customer focus
• Technical proficiency with computer hardware
• Technical proficiency with MS Windows and other MS Office products
• Basic Networking and remote connectivity
