We are looking for a smart and energetic Public
Relations Intern for Summer 2008. Reporting to
the Sr. Manager of Consumer Media Relations, the
successful candidate will be responsible for a
wide variety of PR-related tasks and projects.
Responsibilities:
•Draft weekly status and monthly coverage reports
•Log, classify, paste-up and post news clips
•Update media database (Vocus)
•Draft journalist briefing documents – research
reporters and pull recent clips
•Help with special event logistics for various events
•Assemble media lists
•Maintain press kit materials and online press room
•Update PR calendar
•Scan daily papers and travel magazines looking
for relevant coverage or appropriate media contacts
•Help develop pitch/story ideas
•Create and maintain a publication library
