Marketing Internship (Paid) with Local Pharmacy

Local pharmacy is recruiting for marketing/design interns for their specialty division that works with patients with chronic illnesses such as HIV, HEP C, and Oncology. Tasks this summer include developing a brand new website and creating and launching advertisements for our specialty division. Preferably a Junior or Senior marketing major with web skills but all business majors will be considered. Please read more about the position later in this post. The position could lead to a full-time job.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Each student intern will be given the following duties over the course of their internship:
Acquire knowledge about the world of specialty pharmacies.
Develop, launch, and maintain PharmaHealth Specialty’s new website.
 Design and implement new forms and advertisements required by PharmaHealth Specialty.
Meet and communicate with PharmaHealth Specialty staff about new marketing opportunities and existing tasks.
Integrate marketing ideas from PharmaHealth Specialty with all other divisions.
Report and update status of tasks to sales and marketing team leaders.

Learning Objectives:
1. Experience and understand the fastest growing market in the world, the healthcare industry.
2. Obtain knowledge and experience with web design and maintenance.
3. Improve communication skills with different positions in the workplace.
4. Understand and identify the relationships between sales and marketing.

Job Title: Marketing Intern
Academic Requirements:
3.0 GPA or higher
Junior or Senior
Taken or currently taking at least 2 courses in Marketing

All Business Majors Welcomed

Skills Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) required
Knowledge in multiple aspects of social marketing required
Excellent organizational and time management skills required
Skills in Adobe Creative Suites (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) a major plus

Bilingual a major plus
Hours of Work: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday (full-time)
