Career Development Center Internship

Overview of the internship/coop objectives: Student(s) will learn to coordinate and promote career-related events for the University

Primary duties and responsibilities: Assist in coordinating events, creating and disseminating promotional materials, marketing CareerLink, our new eRecruiting software, and overseeing all marketing efforts which include updating information on FB, Twitter, and LinkedIN pages.

What will the student learn from this experience? Student(s) will learn to coordinate and promote career-related events for the University

Job Title: CDC Event Planning, Marketing and Promotional Intern

Compensation: Academic Credit (3) - must be enrolled in MKT399 Marketing Internship (see Professor Griffin in CCB)

Academic preparation of the student required (graduate, senior, junior, courses taken, GPA, etc.): Must be at least a junior in CCB w. 2.5 GPA and have taken at least 1 marketing course

Skills required: Strong organizational and communication skills, computer literate

Hours of work: 9 hours a week

Start and end dates: Sept 20, 2011 - End of semester

Primary supervisor: Dr. Gail Berman-Martin
