IT Client/Server Infrastructure Internship

Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking two IT Interns for our CIS Department. These are paid internships and the working hours are 35 hours per week for approximately 12 weeks beginning in March or April of 2009. Interns who successfully complete the internship will be considered for full-time employment.
The position involves providing technical support for our insurance systems. Candidates should have a strong technology background. Preferred skills include Java, XML and .NET. Familiarity with computer hardware, application server environments (Websphere, Tomcat, Geronimo, .NET), distributed infrastructure and applications, messaging and integration concepts, applications monitoring, scripting and/or Windows 2003/2008 Server is helpful. Training will be provided. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs of computer hardware is occasionally necessary.
Recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in the IT field or seniors currently enrolled in an IT Bachelor's degree program will be considered.
