Summer Internship: Marketing Assistant Business Broker

This position is probably best for a marketing major but any creative business major with good writing, communication, and basic research skills can do this.  You must have a good work ethic.  This is a very good internship with an experienced professional guiding you but you must be able to get the work done!  And you will learn a great deal about business brokerage.  Please have a well done resume, a well written cover letter, if called for an interview be sure to prepare by visiting the web sites listed below and read up a bit on business brokerage and dress for success for the interview.  This will also qualify for internship credit; assuming you complete the summer MKT399 Marketing internship course (for which you will need my approval.)

Graduates and graduate (MBA etc) students should not apply.  Your application will not be considered.  Kevin Nery is seeking either a soph or junior business major.

Hours :  approx. 20/week (somewhat flexible based on student availability M-F)  $ 11/hr  
Start asap thru end of summer or beyond including next school year. 
Supervisor :  Kevin  Nery      
Intern  will learn…
1) Create marketing materials 
2) create and print/send monthly newsletters 
3)  continue development of marketing lists 
4)  assist in weekly mailings  
5) work with Brokers on research projects
6) work with marketing data base tools
7) Learn business nuances and client behaviors.  
All in a busy  professional office setting.
