The Rockport Company is currently looking for an Intern to join the Brand Marketing and PR Team. This internship is for college credit only. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Product Allocation for Brand Campaign Photo Shoot: Work directly with the Brand Marketing Team to navigate communications between the Brand Marketing Team and Global Marketing management to ensure timely delivery of all brand campaign photo shoot materials.
Social Media Content Development: Work closely with the Brand Marketing Team to develop content for social media channels.
Social Media Analysis Reporting: The intern will work closely with Brand Marketing to analyze different aspects included but not limited to: global market engagement and interaction, comments and feedback from consumers, increase or decrease in fan acquisition, analysis of social media channels driven to purchase on Rockport.com and demographical analysis.
Public Relations Tracking & Measurement: Track all press hits received by Rockport’s global markets.
Public Relations Reporting: Communicate newsworthy information to immediate internal parties, such as Rockport departments and employees, as well as secondary internal parties, such as other employees within the adidas Group.
Outside Vendor Relationships: Develop presentation boards on a quarterly basis to highlight the best press coverage that has been received.
Media Event Planning Assist the Public Relations Team in developing a media event to showcase upcoming product to influential media editors, bloggers, and stylists, each season.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
You must currently be enrolled in school and eligible to receive course credit for internship,
Strong personal communication skills
Enthusiastic and willing to learn
Preference will be given to undergraduate Juniors and Seniors; graduate students will also be considered
