This assignment will be in one of several available positions depending upon candidates qualifications.
Position responsibilities may include:
-Manufacturing Accounting - research cost exception errors, support physical inventory verification, prepare balance sheet reconciliations
-General Accounting/Consolidations - support various accounting projects in the PW Controller's Office
-Government Accounting - support documentation retention activities for all Government submissions including developing standard validation procedures
-Collaboration Administration (Finance) - support testing and documentation phase of Product Value Contribution project
-Engine Alliance - support aftermarket initiatives through analysis of aftermarket business activities and support IT project development and implementation
- Program Finance - support development programs through documentation of engineering and development finance standard work
- Manufacturing Operations Finance - analysis of engine part costs
Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
Position is located in East Hartford, CT and will be from May to August, 2011.
Accounting/Finance majors entering their Junior/Senior year with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Excellent MS Office skills to include Access
Previous Finance Assignments preferred but not required
