Internships at Movie Studio

There are three internships described below at the new Plymouth Rock
Studios. One is in accounting, another is in the area of digital
media, while the third one is in marketing. Please respond directly

Finance and Accounting Intern
2008 Fall Semester

Plymouth Rock Studios, a proposed state-of-the-art, earth friendly,
all-union built film and television studio campus, is set to break
ground in Plymouth, Massachusetts in the spring of 2009. Spearheading
this venture are seasoned entertainment executives from Paramount,
Disney and several major networks.

We are offering a unique opportunity providing undergraduate and
graduate students a hands-on experience working in the entertainment
industry with some of the best in the work force right in Plymouth,
Massachusetts.

Eligibility: This program is open to all undergraduate and graduate
students who are currently enrolled in school and have completed
their freshmen year of study.

Length: Assignments will occur between mid-September to mid-December
during the Fall semester for a minimum of two full days a week on-site.

Location: Plymouth, MA. (A transportation allowance will be offered.)

Compensation: Select positions will include a stipend. School credit
available depending upon institution.

Qualifications: Hiring decisions are based on past work/internship
experiences and extracurricular activities. We are looking for people
with a positive attitude and those who are willing to work hard.
Preferred majors, but not limited to: Business, Finance, Accounting
and Marketing.

Requirements: Those with knowledge in MS Office Tools, especially
Excel. Those with knowledge of QuickBooks and Financial Tools preferred.

Responsibility: The applicants selected will work on special
financial projects assigned from executives. Projects will vary from
organizing and maintaining the due diligence aspect of the company to
assisting with inventory and to the Hollywood East Company store.
Some financial modeling might also be requested depending on
qualification of applicant.

Digital Media Specialist

Requirements: Those with knowledge with Web tools in XML, HTML, CSS,
Dreamweaver, and PHP are ideal. Those interested in video production
should be familiar with Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, After Effects,
Avid and/or Photo Shop preferred. Also, work with a Panasonic HVX
with P2 Workflow and HD videography is a plus.

Responsibility: The applicants selected will work on special projects
assigned by the head of Rock TV Productions. Projects will vary from
managing the Hollywood East TV website to assisting with various
video productions and marketing needs for the studio.

Research and Marketing Intern

Public Relations, Information Technology, Media Management, etc.

Requirements: Those with a thorough knowledge in MS Office,
especially Excel. Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred (if the finance
interns are doing this does the research intern(s) also need this?).
Also a demonstrated ability to successfully navigating through
research databases for projects on short-notice is important.
Candidates must have strong writing skills and will be asked to
present samples in order to be considered.

Responsibility: The applicants selected will work on special projects
assigned from the executives. Tasks will include, but not limited to:
researching latest market trends, writing and marketing promotional
materials, and assisting with public presentations.
