TechTarget is seeking a Database Marketing Intern to join its Data
Analytics team. The position offers the opportunity to work in a
challenging work environment and get hands on experience in data
analysis, reporting, and the supporting of TechTarget's products and
properties.
The core responsibilities for this role are:
Assist in the execution of targeted marketing and operational campaigns;
Help generate actionable ad-hoc reports from an Oracle Data Warehouse; and,
Work with Data Analysts to provide business owners with answers and
insight into questions around their data, and the understanding to
interpret the data on their own.
Job Functions:
Learn to use SQL in an Oracle environment to create targeted
call/email lists and generate queries for custom analysis and data requests;
Refresh standard reports;
Troubleshoot inquiries and problematic Helpdesk tickets; and,
Work with Data Analysts to conduct other data related tasks and
special project work as needed
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Pursuing a BS degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics;
Proficiency in Excel;
Interest in Database Marketing and Data Mining;
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills;
Ability to apply statistical measures and concepts a plus;
Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills; and,
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
