The ATMC provides experiential learning opportunities for students majoring in
Engineering, Business, Chemistry, Biology and Graphic Design.
All internships are paid positions.
Our Mission: The mission of the Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center (ATMC) is to be a technology innovation center that stimulates economic development for the region. The Center provides technology, support, expertise and solutions to established businesses and incubates emerging ventures. Faculty, staff, and students work together in our research facilities to provide a bridge between the University and industry and to be a hub for technology development and commercialization while enhancing the students’ educational experience with real-world skills.
Staff and students will provide information on 3 strategic focus areas:
Coastal Systems Technology
Renewable Energy
Bio-Manufacturing
Our current interns and graduate assistants will also share their experiences working with our Tech Venture start-up companies and on project teams.
