Department: Customer Financial Services (Credit/Collections Dept.)
Title: Intern – Paid Position – Full Time
Hours: Business Hours: 8:00 am – 5:15 pm Mon-Thurs.
8:00 am – 1:00 pm - Fridays
Position Responsibilities: The Intern will learn many of the basic functions and roles of Customer Financial Services Department. Tasks include:
1. Assist in testing and documentation for an ERP upgrade project.
2. Assist in bringing new markets to ‘Test’ and ‘Production’ for Credit Scoring. This includes documenting and streamlining the process flow and standardizing the analysis of results.
3. SOX testing – assistance where need to successfully complete the 1st Assessment for ‘08.
4. Assist where possible, in exploring alternative payment options.
5. Prepare for the 2009 Budget process (pulling invoices, updating workbooks, gathering expense history)
6. Gather and analyze usage data in an effort to assist in the contract renewal process with Coface
7. Work with Credit group to complete non-trade reviews
Education: Enrolled in an Accounting/Finance Degree Program with GPA of 3.0 or better. (Finished Junior year.) Own transportation required.
Skills: Excel, Word and PC skills required. Powerpoint experience a plus.
