Here's a description of the project:

Our Sisters' School Internship Opportunities

Background:

In the fall of '08, a private all girls middle school, called Our Sisters' School, will open its doors to 32 young girls entering the fifth and sixth grades. There are many operational components to launch this huge
endeavor, one of which involves a marketing program geared towards generating community awareness and support, as well as teacher and students recruitment.

Project:

The basis of a marketing plan has been written to take us through the launch of the school in the fall. The plan includes many integrated marketing components that need to be created, implemented, and managed to support the school.

Our goal would be to create a team of young marketing professionals who would work together, under the supervision of professionals on the Our Sisters' School Marketing Committee, to implement our marketing plan with a future goal of putting a plan in place that could take Our Sister School through the next 3 – 5 years.

A team would need to consist of both marketing and creative expertise to support the creation and implementation of the many recommended marketing applications of the plan.

Targets: New Bedford community including prospective families, students/ teachers and potential corporate sponsors and OSS stakeholders

Prospective Marketing Team:
Team leader – project manager
Designer - advertising, collateral, point of purchase and event display
materials
Writer – advertising, collateral, point of purchase and event display materials
